Direct your attention to the assets that need it the most
WHAT IS ATTENTION INDEX?
Senseye PdM is capable of monitoring thousands of connected assets, detecting abnormal behaviour and patterns that match known failure modes. This information is used to calculate the Attention Index for every asset, allowing the system to direct your attention to the assets that need it most.
Attention Index is designed to scale as your fleet of connected assets grows larger and larger. It ensures you are not overwhelmed by alarms and notifications by adapting to your feedback and adjusting sensitivity. Whether you are managing a global fleet or a single production cell, Attention Index provides a clear and consistent indication of assets that require your attention.
If the Attention Index increases above a threshold, Senseye PdM generates a notification in the form of a case. Each case includes one or more patterns detected in the data that caused the Attention Index to increase. By providing feedback on these patterns, you help the system know what’s of interest to you. The Attention Index calculation takes this feedback into account and helps to fine-tune the system over time.
The key feature of Attention Index from Senseye is that it presents information the user deems as important – and over time, it automatically learns what a user finds important.
This is a BIG change of perspective, where most systems just try to learn machine behavior, Senseye PdM also learns the user’s behavior.”

SUMMARY OF FEATURES
Attention Index® indicator
The Attention Index level for each asset is displayed as a colour and associated category.
If there is an open case on the asset, an icon is displayed within the coloured square to provide additional information.
Attention Index® chart
Senseye PdM automatically tracks in real time each of your monitored assets to deliver a specific Attention Index value. In the example below the user can see for a monitored asset showing abnormalities, within a specific date range, how the asset is changing over time and the level of attention it requires.
The markers on the chart indicate significant events to provide context for the asset. The ‘!’ triangle represents an anomaly. The coloured suitcase represents a case opened and the suitcase with an ‘X’ indicates a case closed.
Case icons provide a visual indication of why a case has been opened and helps you on the path to establishing the root cause of an issue.
The background colour reflects the current Attention Index.
High Attention Index
Medium Attention Index
Low Attention Index
Normal Attention Index
The asset list is sorted automatically by Attention Index level so that the highest priority asset appears first.
In the example below a medium priority level (orange colour) is the highest Attention Index level in this asset list. Attention Index Case icons are also included here so you can see which assets have cases and which do not. You can navigate directly to the case details by clicking the Case icon.
